范诗磊
毕业于英国格拉斯哥美术学院，生活、工作于深圳。他独特的个人风格散发着怀旧的情感和压抑，同时表达了全球化下的文化困境和文化自主。作品获得英国苏格兰皇家学院授予的查默斯·杰维斯奖，第22届日本新媒介艺术节选择奖等奖项；作品被英国驻重庆总领事馆、福建省美术馆等机构和个人收藏。
马克思·霍克海姆和西奥多·阿道尔诺的《启蒙辩证法：哲学断片》是范诗磊学术研究的关键文献。他的艺术作品的方向是通过“掌控”观众的思维方式去构建的，在这构建下营造出异托邦空间，观众将在这空间中永恒的拥抱无法预见的“束缚”；观众的身份逐渐失去自由的流通性，并且成为其野蛮式的艺术作品的呈现基础形式。其野蛮式的作品利用文化工业的产物来构建视觉形象，并以大量复制和重复的方式作为实践方法，在构建异托邦空间中产生作品、观众、空间之间的身份的互相转换及互相关联的全新状态，开放地制造欲望的野蛮式艺术打开了观众自我毁灭式的体验。
Fan Shilei
Graduated from the Glasgow School of Art, currently base in Shenzhen. Fan Shilei has received various awards and recognition for his artistic endeavors. His distinctive personal style emanates nostalgic emotions and oppressions, while expressing the cultural dilemma and cultural autonomy under globalization. He was honored with the Chalmers-Jervis Award from the Royal Scottish Academy in the UK and the Selection Prize at the 22nd Japan Media Arts Festival. His works are held in collections by institutions such as the British Consulate-General in Chongqing, the Fujian Art Museum, and other individual collectors.
Marx Horkheimer and Theodor Adorno's "Dialectic of Enlightenment: Philosophical Fragments" serve as key theories in Fan Shilei's academic research. The direction of his artistic work is built on the idea of "controlling" the audience's way of thinking, creating a heterotopian space in which audience are perpetually embraced by unforeseen "constraints." The audience gradually lose the control of their identities and become the foundational forms of his savage-style artworks. His savage works utilize products of cultural industry to construct visual imagery and employ mass replication and repetition as practical methods. This results in a new state of mutual transformation and interrelation between the artwork, the audience, and the space within the constructed heterotopian space. The openly manufactured desire of savage art leads to a self-destructive experience for the audience.
